About me
I am a doctor and eye surgeon subspecialising in macular diseases and uveitis.
I trained at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan and I completed two 18-month retina fellowships in the United Kingdom focusing on macular disorders and uveitis.
After that, I went back to Italy and spent more than three years working at the Oftalmico of Milan, where I had the chance to practice the skills I had gained overseas and during my training.
I currently work as consultant at the Policlinico of Milan where, in addition to clinical and outpatient surgery clinics, I do clinical research and tutoring for ophthalmology trainees of the University of Milan.
I regularly attend courses and conferences, and I have contributed to over 70 scientific publications, holding the license to become an associate professor.
I believe that commitment to research and scientific updating improves the quality of care for patients I look after.
